Product pages declare Product structured dataWhat it checks and how to fix it
What it checks
On pages that look like product pages (og:type=product, Open Graph product tags or another product signal), checks the JSON-LD for a Product-type entity (such as Product or SoftwareApplication). It passes when one is declared and warns when it is missing; non-product pages are skipped.
Why it matters
Product structured data is what makes a page eligible for rich results showing price, availability and star ratings, which stand out in search and in Google Shopping. AI shopping assistants also rely on it to quote your price and stock correctly; without it they have to guess from the page text, or leave you out.
How to fix it
Add a Product JSON-LD block (or SoftwareApplication for a SaaS plan page) whose values match what the page shows:
<script type="application/ld+json">
{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "Product",
"name": "Trail Runner 2 running shoe",
"image": "https://example.com/images/trail-runner-2.jpg",
"brand": { "@type": "Brand", "name": "Example" },
"offers": {
"@type": "Offer",
"price": "129.00",
"priceCurrency": "EUR",
"availability": "https://schema.org/InStock",
"url": "https://example.com/shoes/trail-runner-2"
},
"aggregateRating": { "@type": "AggregateRating", "ratingValue": "4.6", "reviewCount": "212" }
}
</script>
Generate it from the same data that renders the page so price and stock never drift, then validate it with Google's Rich Results Test.
